What Is the Furry Fandom?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This is an easy question to answer....at first. However, once you think about it, things get a little bit tricky. For instance, if furries are a fandom, what is it that we are fans of? What is the canon that brings us together? This panel is an opportunity for furries to explore what it means to be a furry and to think critically about the fandom we call home.

Deadwood Charlie

Charlie is a PhD student in American Studies researching the cultural history of the furry fandom. He uses computers to read books and philosophy to think about furries. Most recently, he is collaborating with the FurScience project.
